"Bangsaen" is a tourist town known for all the fun it has to offer. No matter what your tourism preferences are, this town is always ready to ensure that you find happiness and joy. Activities that you shouldn't miss riding bicycles to enjoy the fresh air along the 2.5-kilometer beachfront and water activities such as swimming, surfing and banana boat rides. Another tourist favorite is to simply chill on a deck chair while others enjoy relaxing in the area without beach umbrellas and deck chairs as well as enjoying delicious seafood and numerous other activities. The municipality designates one business-free day every week for the beach to recover and for the officers to maintain it by collecting coconuts that are prone to fall, pruning the branches off the trees and cleaning the area so that tourists can enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere than on other days.

Buoys: New Normal tourism for Bangsaen beach

Every winter from November to February, the Saensuk Municipality provides buoys to attract tourists and to add a distinctive characteristic to the area. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the sea and take photographs of it from the buoys, in compliance with relevant regulations to prevent possible accidents.

Every visit to Bangsaen should include a stop to pay one’s respects at the Chao Mae Sam Muk shrine, a Thai-Chinese styled shrine on Khaosammuk hill. Wat Saensuk Wisuthi Wararam

"SaensukTemple" is a learning center for Buddhist teachings and beliefs, with stucco sculptures in a Buddhist garden, heaven and hell depictions reminding us to refrain from sinful acts. Another highlight is the beautiful "Phra Maha Chedi" decorated with Nagas. Inside is a large golden Buddha image, with distinctive characteristics, eight surrounding bright golden poles and a high ceiling that makes the place breezy and relaxing.

Open daily from 9am to 4pm with no holidays.
